Our ADF are used for the anti-/de-ing operation for aircrafts.
Since aircrafts cannot take off due to insufficient lift power with ice or snow on wings,contaminations such as ice and snow should be removed from the aircraft before takeoff.
If we look back our past experiences, some aircraft accidents were occurred caused by insufficient contaminations removal.
In recent years, the importance of aircraft deicing/anti-icing operation before takeoff has been recognized in aviation industry, and demands for anti-/de-icing fluid for aircraft is increasing.
Deicing operations of aircrafts flying from airports in Northern area in Japan are required before takeoff.

Clean Aircraft Concept

In accordance with international rule of "Clean Aircraft Concept" that all of contaminations should be removed from aircraft surface, it is necessary to remove snow and ice before flying operation.
The anti-/de-icing fluid for aircraft manufactured and sold by Kanto Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. is a product approved by public institutions in each country such as the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in accordance with strict international standards.
Our deicing business started importing and selling in 1988, and our products are now the top market share in Japan market.

TYPE Ⅰ:Removal of contaminations on the aircraft surface.

During the winter, aircraft are exposed to the harsh conditions of snowfall, depending on the region.
Therefore, snow, ice, frost, etc. will adhere to the aircraft.
It depends on the snow quality, but if the temperature is low, it can be blown off by de-icing blow (compressed air).
However, wet snow and ice cannot be removed by blowing alone.
Therefore, TYPE I(De-Icing Fluid) is sprayed to remove snow and ice, and the aircraft is returned to a clean state.

TYPEⅣ: Preventing accretion after deicing

After spraying TYPE I, it is necessary to prevent the aircraft from accumulating snow or ice again.
TYPE IV(Anti-Icing Fluid) is sprayed in order to prevent de-icing of aircraft before takeoff.
After spraying, a layer of Anti-Icing Fluid is formed on the surface of the aircraft, and the newly accumulated snow is melted.
This is a Fluid that has the property of flowing off from the aircraft surface due to gliding during takeoff.
For TYPE IV, the Holdover Time (the time that the effect lasts) is set immediately after the start of spraying.
The Kill frost brand TYPE IV manufactured by us has a long holdover time and excellent performance, so it is used by many airlines internationally.
